Introduction

ApnaPaisa lets you accept UPI, cards, net banking and wallets through a single REST API and a hosted checkout. Payments are processed by our RBI-authorised payment partner — card and UPI credentials never touch your servers or ours.

How it works

1. Your server creates an order with POST /api/v1/orders.
2. Redirect the customer to the returned checkout_url (or open it in a popup with checkout.js).
3. The customer pays; we verify the payment server-side with the provider.
4. We redirect back to your success_url with a signature and send a signed payment.success webhook.
5. Your server confirms with GET /api/v1/orders/{id} before fulfilling.

Conventions

• All amounts are integers in paise (₹499.00 = 49900).
• Requests and responses are JSON (UTF-8). Timestamps are Unix seconds (UTC).
• Successful responses: {"success": true, "data": {…}}. Errors: {"success": false, "error": {"code", "message", "field"}}.
• The same API serves sandbox and live; the environment is selected by the key you use.
